TLC day helps senior doctors feel “energised and motivated”

We recently had the privilege of delivering a dynamic workshop for senior clinicians in NHS teams based in Leicester—and what a day it was.

Together, we explored a wide range of topics that truly reflect the realities of working in today’s healthcare environment. From stress and burnout, to the importance of controlling the controllable, we created space for honest reflection and practical learning. We also focused on enabling others at work, as well as developing effective coaching conversations and building confidence in handling difficult discussions.

What stood out most was the level of engagement in the room. Every participant leaned in, contributed, and embraced the opportunity to think differently. The energy was tangible—and it showed in the feedback. We were delighted to receive almost entirely 5-star reviews, with comments such as:

“Energising and motivating day - I want to use the knowledge I’ve gained today to be a better person and leader.”

and

“A superb opportunity to think more deeply about skills that we all need in our leadership roles.”

As clinicians and managers ourselves, we understand just how challenging working in the NHS can be. The pressures are real, constant, and evolving. But we also know that with the right tools, mindset shifts, and with support, it is possible not just to survive—but to adapt, lead, and thrive over the long term. That’s what we aim to share: practical, evidence and experience-based strategies that make a real difference straight away.

The most rewarding outcome? Seeing a room full of senior leaders leave feeling energised, inspired, and committed to testing out new approaches in their day-to-day work.

We’d love to bring that same impact to more teams—within healthcare and beyond.

How could we help you and your leadership?
