Based in Suffolk in the UK, the Thriving Life Consultancy (TLC) are a team of three, with over 75 years’ combined experience in neurology, organisational leadership, executive level coaching, mentoring and communications training.

As well as extensive backgrounds working in the NHS, we also have years of experience in the private, government and charity sectors.

Dr Paul Molyneux, Consultant Neurologist and Coaching lead

A former medical director of an NHS Trust, Paul has over 20 years’ experience as a consultant neurologist and clinical leader.

An accredited coach, Paul has a particular interest and knowledge around preventing burnout and helping people to reconnect with their purpose. His background in neurology gives him a deep understanding of the neuroscience of how to effect lasting, positive change.

Most recently, Paul has been leading on developing a wellbeing strategy for doctors at an NHS Trust, setting up a faculty of coaching doctors, building a peer support network and supporting clinical leadership development.

Driven from his own experience of burnout, Paul has done over a decade of research into the institutional drivers of burnout and the implementation of prevention strategies.

Gina Shaw, Coaching and Culture Change Lead

Gina brings over a decade of coaching experience, supporting leaders at every level,  from first‑time managers to CEOs, to grow, navigate complexity, and build healthier, more connected workplace cultures. With a background in coaching and mentoring within the NHS and a career in leadership roles since 2012, she has worked across sectors to strengthen performance, relationships, and team wellbeing.

She has extensive experience coaching neurodiverse individuals and is committed to creating learning environments where different ways of thinking and communicating are understood, valued, and supported.

Gina is passionate about culture change and specialises in designing and delivering leadership programmes that blend neuroscience, psychology, and practical tools. Her work centres on fostering collaboration, psychological safety, and inclusive, values‑led leadership that enables people and organisations to thrive.

Helen Davies, senior communications expert with long history of advising CEOs and C-suite on communications strategies and approach, helping leaders find their authentic leadership style

Helen Davies, Communications and Engagement Lead

Helen is a communications and engagement expert with over 25 years’ experience leading strategic communications functions across a range of sectors, including NHS, education, government, medical research, charity and private sectors.

She has provided strategic communications advice and training to FTSE100 CEOs and Board level directors from a range of different sectors, as well as NHS Trust CEOs and leaders. She uses her skills and knowledge to help senior leaders find their authentic communication style to better engage their teams and stakeholders. She also has huge experience in helping leaders to communicate better in a pressured environment. Helen firmly believes that good leadership starts with excellent communication and engagement skills.

Helen started her career working for two government Cabinet Ministers.
